About Brookline Tutor

My goal as the Brookline Tutor is to be your one-stop solution center for complete standardized test preparation and academic support in math and science classes. To achieve that goal, I rely on the core principles of convenience, customization and communication to shape the type of service I offer.

Convenience: I bring my services to you, when and where you need them. I offer in-home tutoring for all communities within a 30-minute drive of Washington Square, and some areas beyond. See the service radius page for details. Scheduling is also at your convenience, with sessions available during the day, in the evening, or on weekends, and I can adjust meeting times as needed when other demands come up.

Customization: One-on-one work means we focus only on the material you need to cover, with a teaching style that works best for you. I cover all sections of major standardized tests, and the relative amount of time we spend on each section is determined by your needs and your goals. Within each session, it’s always possible to switch back and forth as needed between test preparation and academic support.

Communication: I maintain open lines of communication at all times with both parents and students. I provide regular progress reports and take questions from students after hours. As your tutor, I am not only a teacher, but also your advocate. It’s my goal to help students through the challenges of test preparation, academics, study habits, school applications, and life in general.
